I am a Humanist, a Muslim, a Doabi, a Hyderabadi, a Londoner and a European; and in that order, there is another identity that I hide because people do not understand it (i.e. Indian identity). I am a person with various complex identities and ways of thinking, read them all in the Category of Posts called, “Who am I”.
My father was an officer in BSF who posted in Assam when I was born. Then he got posted to Delhi. My first school was in Punjab. Then we had to go to Kashmir, where I joined kindergarten and then spent the best years of my life in Kashmir, in Trehgam and Srinagar. Next, off to Bengal for the next three years where I completed my Secondary School Certificate. Left home for AMU to complete Senior Secondary School and then went to IHM Mumbai for my Undergrad.
Thereafter worked in Bombay and Gurgaon before doing MBA from UCD, Dublin and currently living in London. Plans are to move to Hyderabad in a few years, when my house is built on the plot in Hyderabad and my Orchard starts fruit production.
